A: It’s a course that is offered via the internet and in this way it offers a wonderful way to engage in lectures, discussions, and interactions with course instructor, Miriam Mason Martineau, all from the comfort of your own home!
For the monthly live interactive calls we use Zoom conferencing to make it just like an in-person event, where you can ask questions, share your experiences, and deepen your exploration of the course themes. You can access Zoom on your computer or cellphone for free; downloading zoom takes just a minute.
Q: When exactly does this course happen?
A: The course begins whenever you are ready to start! We offer this course on an ongoing basis, so that you can take it at a pace that works best for you and your family. Your weekly teaching and practice sessions are all on the course members’ page to which you will gain access after registering. The live Q&A Zoom calls happen once a month. You will have continued access to all the recordings and course material on the course members’ page for three months following your registration, so that you can download any materials or save any content that you would like to keep for your personal files.
Q: Can I benefit from the course if I miss a class or any of the live interactive Q&A sessions?
A: Yes! On our online course members’ page you can access all the course session recordings to listen to by playback or by download to your audio player, as well as all accompanying handouts and materials. You can email your questions to Miriam to answer on the monthly live calls (write to: firstname.lastname@example.org ). This is the beauty of this format, especially for parents! You can work with this course material at the time that is most convenient for you and your family.
Q: How much does this course cost?
A: This eight-week course costs US$ 275 .
Q: Are there scholarships available for this course?
A: Yes, we make sure that a certain percentage of spaces are available for partial scholarships, giving preference to those in developing countries or doing important but underpaid work to which they can apply the training material immediately. Q: What is your refund policy?
A: After gaining access to the course materials, no refunds will be given. If you have registered and not yet gained access, you can send a cancellation request via e-mail and a US$ 45.00 processing fee will be deducted.
